How many would go back today?
More than people think. Not because we miss the danger, the heat, or the chaos — but because we miss the purpose, the brotherhood, the clarity. Out there, we knew who had our back and why we were there. The real world is not the same. You can’t recreate that bond or that sense of mission, so yeah… a lot of us would go back—not for war, but for the family we found in it.
