I’ve read both links and don’t fully understand the differences between the options. They both appear very similar to me in that various records and information are submitted to the VA for evaluation. The fully developed claim option is supposed to be more timely, so I’m not sure why I wouldn’t opt for that one. I already have a disability rating through the VA as I processed out of the Navy 10 years ago. I don’t know if that makes one of the two claim options a better choice.
Please let me know your thoughts on when either option should be chosen.
