We're not miracle workers.

NOBODY IS.

We need to set your expectations properly. This is not a “set it and forget it” process.

Simply beginning the process is critical, but YOU need to advocate for yourself by FOLLOW ALL OUR INSTRUCTIONS.

By starting with SOS, we’ve opened the door. But YOU need to step through it.

If not, why did you begin at all?

BTW…this is a solid way to craft YOUR story. YOUR STORY IS SUPER CRITICAL.

Why?

Because VA raters will NEVER call you to interview you like SOS did.

So…imagine it’s Christmas.

You’re sitting on the hearth with your grandchild enjoying a beautiful, crackling fire.

Your grandchild looks at you and asks, “Can you tell me about your time in the military?”

THIS, is what you WRITE for your story.

Tell your grandchild the WHO, WHAT, WHERE AND WHY things happened to you.

Especially WHY complaining about these things was frowned upon and was the culture status quo.

Leave no mystery in that child’s mind of your sacrifices.

That story is told as to TODAY.

HOW MUCH pain in all your body and mind you hide and suffer silently with.

THAT’S what you TELL THE DOCTORS for exams YOU schedule ON YOUR OWN (to secure a current diagnosis) AND what you tell the doctor at your VA scheduled Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams.

  1. Love the story. I wish all of my veteran friends would just start the process. It would be Christmas for them as well. A friend told me, look at it this way. The money that you start to get is more than you would have had if you didn’t start the process.
